   Installing The ViaPrint Icon:	

	How to install your program as an Icon with the 
	Windows' Program Manager.

	1. First install the program in a DOS directory, 
	outside of Windows.

	2. Start up Windows and open the PROGRAM MANAGER.

	3. Click once on the group in which you want the 
	new ViaPrint Icon installed.

	4. Go up to the menu bar at the top of your screen 
	and click on the word FILE.

	5. A menu drops down.  Click on NEW.

	6. You will see a window with two choices.  Select 
	PROGRAM ITEM.  Then click on OKAY.

	7. Another window appears entitled PROGRAM ITEM
	PROPERTIES.

	8. Click in the box labeled DESCRIPTION. Type 
	"ViaPrint".

	9. Use the tab key or mouse and go to the box 
	labeled COMMAND LINE.  Type the full name of the 
	path to the directory where you have installed 
	ViaPrint, and the name VIAPRINT.EXE. For example,
	if the program is in a directory called VIAPRINT on the
	C drive you would enter	C:\VIAPRINT\VIAPRINT.EXE in the 
	box.

	10. Use the TAB key to go to the box labeled WORKING
	DIRECTORY.  Type the name of the directory in which 
	you installed ViaPrint.  For example, if you 
	installed the game in a directory called VIAPRINT, then 
	type C:\VIAPRINT.  

	11. Now click on OKAY in the PROGRAM ITEM PROPERTIES
	Window.

	You should now have the ViaPrint Icon installed 
	in your PROGRAM MANAGER. Enjoy the program!

   
   NOTE:
 
   An order form is provided under the file name "ORDER.TXT".
   You can Open this file using Windows Notepad and print it, or
   print one from the "Viable" Button in ViaPrint itself.

   NOTE 2:
   
   This program is written in Visual Basic.  Thus it needs the 
   VBRUN300.DLL (which should be included) to run.  If you got 
   your copy from an online service or bulletin board take note:

        Some BBS Sysops remove the VBRUN300.DLL file from Windows
        programs that use it in order to save disk drive space.
        If you are missing the VBRUN300.DLL file, log back on to
        the service or BBS it came from, and, if you can't easily
        find the VBRUN file, leave a comment to your Sysop asking
        how he/she allows people to acquire it.  
   
   NOTE 3:
	
	Some printers apparently will not print .BMP pictures from
	ViaPrint.  We are working to alleviate this situation - 
	meanwhile you'll find ViaPrint useful without pictures!	
	We suggest you use MetaFiles rather than .BMPs.

Added or Enhanced Features:

1. Major addition: ViaBase Viewer added for live querying of ViaBase 
   database records.  ViaPrint is being kept ultra-compatible with 
   ViaBase.

2. Database features enhanced:

   A) Database Viewer now allows forward and backward paging through 
      records.
   B) Create and Edit quick Comma-Delimited Ascii database right in 
      ViaPrint!
   C) Start printing records based on matching a specific field in 
      the record.
   D) New print option to suppress the removal of blank field lines  
      in multi-line Text Boxes during printout.

3. Editing/Printing features enhanced:

   A) Incremental Field added (To facilitate numbering on labels. 
      For example, you can now print things like "Disk X of 5".
   B) Standard Windows Printer Setup added.
   C) Specify any font size you want by entering the size manually.
   D) Toolbar Font Enlarger to enlarge or reduce your Text Box fonts 
      on the fly.
   E) Option to show object outlines on the Screen Label.
   F) Improved Angle Box accuracy.  Angle Box text can now be printed 
      in color. 
   G) Picture Boxes are resized to fit the current label when loaded 
      in.
   H) New Rulers added with measurements in Inches or Centimetres.
   I) New standard Windows Help File.

Bug Fixes:

   1. Problem with "walking" Right-aligned or Centered Text Boxes 
      fixed.
   2. Setting number of pages on printers that do not accept the 
      Windows "number of copies" command has been fixed.  Each page 
      is now built in memory before being sent to printer.
   3. Strange Angle Box results on printouts has been fixed.
   4. Ruler and other problems caused by "Large Font" video modes 
      have been repaired.
   5. Page Preview eating of Windows Resources has been fixed.
   6. "Printer Offset" bug that required a negative setting has been 
      fixed.
   7. Horizontal and Vertical Dividers sorted out...
   8. There's more, but I can't remember.  I stomped on 'em where 
      I saw 'em!
